💼Professional Networking Made Easy

A LinkedIn QR code is mostly used face to face: at a conference, on a CV, on a name badge, or on the back of a business card. It opens your public profile, in the form https://www.linkedin.com/in/your-name, so the person you have just met can connect without searching through people with similar names.

Set a custom public profile URL in LinkedIn before you create the code. The default address includes random characters and is harder to recognise, while a custom one is easier to print as text beside the code. For a business, link to the company page instead of a personal profile, so the code still makes sense if the person who made it leaves.

LinkedIn opens in the app if it is installed, and in the browser otherwise. Visitors who are not signed in may see only part of your profile, so make sure your headline and summary explain what you do in the first few lines.

If you print badges or cards in bulk, a dynamic QR code lets you change the destination later, for example from a personal profile to a company page, or to a new profile after a name change, without reprinting anything.
