Customers scan and call you instantly. No dialling, no mistakes.
Create a QR code that dials your phone number with one scan. Perfect for business contacts, customer support, and service providers. QuikQR offers one free static QR code and dynamic plans with editable links and analytics from £4.99/month with a 4-day free trial.
A phone QR code is most useful where typing a number is awkward: a van parked at the kerb, a poster across the street, or a shop window after hours. When someone scans a QuikQR phone code, their phone opens a short QuikQR page that hands the number to the dialler. The number appears ready to call, and a Tap to Call button is shown in case the phone does not open the dialler on its own. Nothing is dialled until the caller confirms.
Enter the number in full international format, starting with a plus sign and the country code, for example +44 20 7946 0000 rather than 020 7946 0000. A number written that way works for visitors with foreign SIM cards and for anyone roaming, while a local format can fail outside your country. QuikQR strips spaces and brackets before saving, so you can type the number the way you would normally write it.
Print the number beside the code as well. Some people will not scan, and a visible number tells everyone what the code does before they point a camera at it. If the line might change, for example when a support number moves to a new provider or a sales line is reassigned, a dynamic QR code lets you switch the number without reprinting vehicle wraps, cards, or signs.
Separate codes for each placement, such as one on the van and one on leaflets, show you which material leads to scans. A scan records that the page was opened, not that a call connected, so compare scan counts with your own call logs if you need to know which channel actually brings in work.

How does the phone QR code work?
QuikQR creates a tel: link QR code. When scanned, it opens the phone dialler with your number ready to call.
Does it dial automatically?
For security, most phones show the number and let the user tap to call. It does not auto-dial.
Can I use international phone numbers?
Yes! Use the full international format (e.g., +44 for UK, +1 for US) for best compatibility.
